Just before Christmas I viewed a Mercedes SLK280 at Shire Cars. I had researched widely and knew exactly what I wanted - their car ticked all the boxes so I gave it a test drive. It was immediately clear that the car had been well prepared for sale and it drove immaculately, like a new vehicle. They explained in detail the work they had done prior to putting it onto the forecourt, and were willing to spend time explaining details and generally allowing me to give the car a really thorough examination. Their customer-focused attitude was a refreshing change, and everything was explained clearly.
Now that I have had the SLK for nearly two months (and driven it on any excuse!) I am in love!
I can recommend Shire Cars without hesitation, so much so that I will certainly be taking the car for service and maintenance, MOTs etc, in the future, even though they are a little further away from home. Very nice people to deal with.

I like the simple honest approach from these people. I was referred over to them by a friend, and had been unhappy with my present garage for quite a while. One price mot whether it fails or not !, i had been had by the cheap £30 mot then charged another 27.50 to retest it after. You choose but you can fix it yourself or ask them for a quote, either way they are not trying to fail your car like most do !!Well done to you. I will be back.

I worked with Peter and Mark at Cotswold BMW and we have 4 cars in the family all serviced and maintained by them. We bought a 206 for my son and it is a great car they prepared the car very well it was lovely. I cannot tell you how pleased we are and how nice it is to deal with two great guys who generally have nothing but the customers best interest at heart.
