Just before Christmas I viewed a Mercedes SLK280 at Shire Cars. I had researched widely and knew exactly what I wanted - their car ticked all the boxes so I gave it a test drive. It was immediately clear that the car had been well prepared for sale and it drove immaculately, like a new vehicle. They explained in detail the work they had done prior to putting it onto the forecourt, and were willing to spend time explaining details and generally allowing me to give the car a really thorough examination. Their customer-focused attitude was a refreshing change, and everything was explained clearly. Now that I have had the SLK for nearly two months (and driven it on any excuse!) I am in love! I can recommend Shire Cars without hesitation, so much so that I will certainly be taking the car for service and maintenance, MOTs etc, in the future, even though they are a little further away from home. Very nice people to deal with.

After twelve years of driving the same car I found I had to replace it with a new (well, used)car. Being a lady of 'mature years'and having to make a decision on my own was daunting until I met the guys at Shire Cars. They were so helpful, not patronising in any way and explained everything without being too technical. If you are having to make a decision on your own look no further than Shire Cars. These guys really care about their customers.

Shire Cars are superb. I’ve bought 2 cars from these guys - both have been great. They also kept my old car on the road for many years through careful servicing and attention when needed. Always courteous and thoroughly trustworthy. These guys take the time and trouble to explain what needs to be done to fix your car and never recommend work for the sake of it. We always take our cars to them (one is 2 years ld, one is 15 years) and they are completely honest with us at all times. Recently they fixed our ABS system and replaced the motor for the electric window. They showed me photos of the old parts and the new parts used and explained fully what had been done. We use them for MOTs, servicing and repairs but also if we just want to ask 'what is that weird noise?' or 'why doesn't my key work?'. On many occasions we have left them with advice and no bill. I would never take my car anywhere else!

Just had my cars MOT and service completed by Shire Cars. I was very pleased with the service I received from booking to collection after the work had been completed. I wiil be going back next year. Excellent customer service and reasonable prices.

I had a flat tyre outside Shire Cars today. The guys in the garage went out of their way to help me out. They were really friendly and incredibly helpful, they changed my tyre, gave me advice on what to do next and talked me through how to get home safely with my temporary tyre. This has been my first time of using the garage and I'd be confident to use them in the future. Thank you guys for making my journey home possible.
