Second time I have used this garage, as had flat front tyre which recovery service could not fix as were unable to remove the Volvo Security Wheel nuts. Car towed to garage. They informed me that they were having extreme difficulty in removing the wheel. The guys eventually had to cut wheel off as could not remove the nuts. They managed to source a wheel with a tyre for me from Port Talbot and got it delivered. They also fitted new bolts on all other wheels. Really pleased with service, kept me informed of progress. Total cost was very reasonable, lower than I thought it would cost. Excellent service. I really recommend using them again and will do so in the future.

Just had my cars MOT and service completed by Shire Cars. I was very pleased with the service I received from booking to collection after the work had been completed. I wiil be going back next year. Excellent customer service and reasonable prices.

I've taken my BMW to this garage for several years - MOT and servicing. I wouldn't go anywhere else now. As a woman who doesn't know much about cars, I trust them completely to keep me safe on the road. Friendly, helpful and they explain what work has been done or what might need doing in plain English. In addition to a detailed breakdown of the car servicing, he went above and beyond to help answer a few queries I had about my car and gave some really helpful advice. He was calm and patient and I never felt rushed or intimidated, which has happened previously to me at other garages. Shire Cars do not carry out unnecessary work and will only replace parts if absolutely needed. I would recommend Shire Cars to anyone looking for an honest and affordable car garage and will be using them in future.

Yesterday I had a nightmare situation I ran over something that caused my tyre to rip and went completely flat. I was at a mother and toddler group round the corner from the garage. I went there to ask if they could help. Without hesitation they were eager to help me. Very friendly and helpful staff. Drove us to my car and put my spare tyre on for me so I could drive it safely. I am extremely grateful for helping me with what could of been a sticky situation. Lovely garage highly recommend. Thanks again

Just before Christmas I viewed a Mercedes SLK280 at Shire Cars. I had researched widely and knew exactly what I wanted - their car ticked all the boxes so I gave it a test drive. It was immediately clear that the car had been well prepared for sale and it drove immaculately, like a new vehicle. They explained in detail the work they had done prior to putting it onto the forecourt, and were willing to spend time explaining details and generally allowing me to give the car a really thorough examination. Their customer-focused attitude was a refreshing change, and everything was explained clearly. Now that I have had the SLK for nearly two months (and driven it on any excuse!) I am in love! I can recommend Shire Cars without hesitation, so much so that I will certainly be taking the car for service and maintenance, MOTs etc, in the future, even though they are a little further away from home. Very nice people to deal with.
