I worked with Peter and Mark at Cotswold BMW and we have 4 cars in the family all serviced and maintained by them. We bought a 206 for my son and it is a great car they prepared the car very well it was lovely. After twelve years of driving the same car I found I had to replace it with a new (well, used)car. Being a lady of 'mature years'and having to make a decision on my own was daunting until I met the guys at Shire Cars. They were so helpful, not patronising in any way and explained everything without being too technical. If you are having to make a decision on your own look no further than Shire Cars. Just before Christmas I viewed a Mercedes SLK280 at Shire Cars. I had researched widely and knew exactly what I wanted - their car ticked all the boxes so I gave it a test drive. It was immediately clear that the car had been well prepared for sale and it drove immaculately, like a new vehicle. They explained in detail the work they had done prior to putting it onto the forecourt, and were willing to spend time explaining details and generally allowing me to give the car a really thorough examination. Their customer-focused attitude was a refreshing change, and everything was explained clearly. Now that I have had the SLK for nearly two months (and driven it on any excuse!) I am in love! I can recommend Shire Cars without hesitation, so much so that I will certainly be taking the car for service and maintenance, MOTs etc, in the future, even though they are a little further away from home. Very nice people to deal with.

Just picked up our son’s first car, and the service we receive was excellent. They gave the car a thorough service even replacing some parts that weren’t faulty but slightly wore to ensure car was in 1st class condition, which has made my husband and I a little less anxious about our son driving ! Purchased my Honda Jazz and I am thrilled with it and the service I received from all at Shire Cars was fantastic and I would definitely recommend them to friends & family.

I was staying in the area and Shire Cars were recommended to me.I was very impressed by the way Mark established my needs in terms of what I required from a car. His calm manner made me feel I could take my time to think about buying an eye-catching Ford Focus. Lloyd was brilliant and very patient at explaining all the bells and whistles on the Titanium model. Shortly after getting the car, I noticed it was cutting out at times and Shire Cars went to great lengths to fix the problem. A good garage, good at communicating and I would happily go back to them.
